We're thinking about getting 2 automatic feeders for 2 cats but are afraid the dominant cat will end up eating the older cat's food as well as it's own. Is there a way to keep this from happening? We don't want the older cat to go hungry.seperate feeders because they eat different types of food for each one. Sometimes we go out of town for a night or two and with a timed feeder it would make things easier then finding a cat sitter.also one cat is 13 and the other is 4. the older cat is declawed while the other has claws. We currently feed them seperately and the younger cat always tries to grub on the older cats food after its done with its own.

What are the best cat automatic feeders and waterers?
Do to circumstances out of my control I can't get a pet sitter for about four days around Christmas. If I can't get anyone to come and feed them at all I need to have some food stocked up. Anyone have the automatic food and water systems? Any suggestion? I know they are separate systems but I felt one question would work for both.

I recently purchased an automatic feeder for my 2 cats?
I got it about a month ago and i loved it so i kept it out for them, i have noticed though that they are both throwing up more frequently then they use to. Is this because of the automatic feeder? I haven't changed the brand of food or anything. They're not throwing up non stop it's just more then they use to. Any help?

I have three tanks at home and I love fish, so I'm aware of the joys of aquarium ownership. This tank is in a common area at work. When I'm there, I feed the fish. However, I was out for three days last week and apparently no one remembered to feed the danios, even the ones who agreed to be responsible for the tank when I'm not there. And I'm not going to go into the office on the weekends. So all things considered, an automatic feeder and a timer on the lights are the way to go with this one.

With the C10 Automatic Feeder that feeds the cat can i put any food i want in there or must it be canned?

Saltwater Automatic Feeders - Frozen Foods?
I have a clown, one firefish, one long nose hawkfish, a green mandarin, and a bicolor goby. all of them love to eat frozen mysid and brine shrimp and not much else. Of course the mandarin goes for the pods. But I am planing on being away for possibly up to two weeks. I don't really have any options other than to get an automatic feeder for these guys, b c I am new to the area and I don't have anyone who could check up on them and feed them for me. Are there any options out there to have an automatic feeder to feed frozen foods? I would give them live food, but I have a 37 gal. eclipse and I am not sure how I could hook up something to that to give them a continuous supply of live food. The tank is completely covered with a hood. Could I just dump a bunch of pod and brine cysts in there to hatch while I am gone? That would ruin the water quality. Does anyone know of how I could pull a two week vacation and still have live fish when I get back w o having to give them unwantedfood
