Cat Feeder Homepage

Question: Can anyone tell me how to make a homemade cat feeder so that i can go on vacation?

I need the most basic contraption that anyone can think of i forgot to mention that shell have to be left outside because she wont use a litter box , however she will use the bathtub!!!

You should NEVER leave a cat alone like that, it is really irresponsible, have you got a friend or neighbour who could pop in to check the cat is ok? Would you leave a baby alone while you went on holiday? Cats need to be checked up on, it is cruel to leave it and you may come home to find a dead cat.

Just buy one at walmart..........they're like 10 bucks or less. cats like nibbling, so put a large bowl of food out for the amount you give each day times how many days you will be gone. they wont starve to death, im pretty sure. leave a faucet dripping, they like fresh water too!

Dump a bunch of dry food on the cat's bowl and leave the toilet lid open!

Get a big bowl and put a bunch of food in it. It's a cat. It will be fine. Leave a toilet seat up for water.

I don't know how to make one, but what we do every time we go on a vacation is give one door key to a close friend that you trust 100% and ask them to come into your home twice a day to check on the cat's food, water and clean the litter box and play with her if they have time to do so. It seems to make the separation better on account of someone making a presence for her. Hope this helps you!

Don't leave your cat alone while you go on holiday! thats pet abuse. Get a human to come round and check on it and feed it every day.

You must have a large bowl, don't you? Hopefully two of them. Fill one with water and the other with dry food. It works just like your litter box. Oh ya, you might want to have two of them as well. I am the Fringe, the Astro Cat!

Buy a friend to watch her or say good bye to her before you leave because if she finds a place that she likes better, you'll never see her again.
