Cat Feeder Homepage

Question: How to make a cat feeder that only allows the smaller cats in...ideas?

I need to make some sort of contraption that only allows my 3 smaller cats access to dry food. I have a 4th cat who can only eat small amounts of wet food over the day. Any ideas on construction? A cardboard box? A laundry basket? A plastic tub? Thanks!

Any kind of thing that has a hole in it big enough for the little guys, but that the big one can't fit in.

Will how how big are they? you can make something were they small cats can get in but not the bigger cat

Depending on how big the cats are in difference, it's probably safe to say that putting a cardboard box big enough to hold the smaller cats around the feeder and cutting a small hole or door in it. Do take precautions such as putting it on a table or high place and make sure the cats don't wear it down by them sitting on top of it. Also cats fur make them look bigger so provide the small cats enough space to get in but back sure the big one isn't able to squeese itself in too.
